Campagnolo already got a solid wind-cheating update with new levers for Tadej Pogačar’s Colnago TT1 time trial bike, but now they have two new Bora Ultra WTO wheel options. Out back there’s an all-new tubeless disc brake lenticular Disc wheel… a lot of firsts for Campy. Campagnolo Bora Ultra WTO TT disc wheel
Campy’s Bora Ultra WTO TT disc wheel is the biggest new item here. We got a good early look at it on the new Colnago TT1 time trial bike of the UAE team, at the Giro d’Italia. But Campagnolo only now gives us the full detail.
The new rear wheel is really Campagnolo’s first official disc-brake-specific Disc wheel. It is also their first lenticular (subtly shaped with a double convex curvature) Disc wheel for disc brakes. And it is their first 2-Way Fit tubeless-ready Disc wheel. Basically, it’s a big step up in modernized performance from their rim-brake tubular Disc.

The new carbon Bora Ultra WTO TT wheel is built around an alloy centerlock (AFS) disc brake hub with a 12x142mm thru-axle, premium CULT ceramic bearings, and a Campy N3W freehub body. Its full carbon rim is 19mm internal with a 2-Way Fit hooked tubeless continuous rim bed. So again no need for tubeless tape, but you can also run conventional tube-type clincher tires too.
No official word on weight yet, although Campagnolo says it maintains its “main characteristics of lightness and stiffness” to set a new benchmark for tubeless, disc brake Disc wheels.
The new Campagnolo Bora Ultra WTO TT DB rear disc wheel is available now for the low, low price of 3450€. OK, wow! At least it comes with a tubeless valve, rotor lockring, wheelbag, and tire levers at that price.
Campagnolo Bora Ultra WTO 80 aero wheels
At the Giro, the UAE team paired the TT Disc with a new 80mm deep Campagnolo Bora Ultra WTO 80 for their fastest, most aerodynamic time trial setup. These wheels feature almost all of the same lighter, faster Ultra-premium and Wind Tunnel Optimized tech as the 30mm, 45mm & 60mm deep Bora Ultra WTO wheels that launched a year ago… just in a deeper 80mm aero rime profile.

The new Bora Ultra WTO 80 is the most aero carbon rim, spoked wheel in the Campagnolo family. It features an 80mm deep rim, with a 21mm internal hooked 2-Way Fit tubeless rim that maxes out at 27.3mm wide external.
The wheels are built up with 21 straightpull aero bladed stainless steel spokes front & rear with 2:1 grouped G3 lacing, and the hidden but still externally adjustable Aero Mo-Mag nipples.
They feature the same hourglass aero WTO centerlock/AFS disc brakes hubs – carbon front hub, alloy rear – and spin on CULT ceramic bearings and 12mm thru-axles. Campy N3W, SRAM XDR & Shimano HG freehubs are all available.
Campy claims a complete wheelset weight of 1590g for their deepest high-profile aero wheels – 740g for the front wheel alone, and 850g for the rear. At 4390€ for the pair (with the same accessories as the TT Disc), the deeper Bora Ultra WTO 80 DB wheelset is quite a bit more expensive than the other Ultra WTO wheels.

But you can also buy them individually from Campagnolo dealers if you want to mix and match depths or combine them with the TT Disc for the ultimate aero time trial of triathlon setup.
Both new Campagnolo Bora Ultra WTO TT & 80 aerodynamic wheels are available now from Campy dealers, exclusively in the low-key straight out-of-the-mold stealthy C-Lux finish with dark graphics and copper-colored logos as debuted with Bora Ultra WTO, last spring. Only the pros get the flashier white and red team graphics.
