Onto, the UK-based all-inclusive EV subscription service, plans to add 600 Fiat New 500s to its fleet.
Onto aims to offer a flexible alternative to traditional car ownership—it currently offers 24 electric models from such brands as VW, Renault, Audi and Tesla. Subscriptions start at £379 per month.
Onto plans to offer the New 500 hatchback at £519 per month, and the convertible version at £599 per month. The monthly subscription includes insurance, maintenance, free public charging and 750 miles of driving per month.
The New 500, manufactured at Fiat’s home base in Turin, offers a choice of battery options: 24 or 42 kWh. Onto will offer the larger battery pack, which delivers a range of up to 199 miles.
“This New 500 is a design icon that will be the first convertible to join our expanding fleet, and we’re sure it will be incredibly popular with our customers,” said Rob Jolly, CEO and co-founder of Onto.
