K-Edge releases limited colors, but it’s the new graphics that we really want

Here’s what happens when the guy running your laser etching machine starts playing around to see what else he can do besides your logo. The new K-Edge limited edition series came about from a burst of creativity, yielding a topgraphical map design etched into their CNC’d aluminum mount.

It actually started off with an “Oil Slick” design (so, no, it’s not the rainbow ano to match your XX1 cassette) on black, and then they decided to add color…

The green is available on the K-Edge Max XL Combo mount, which is their latest out-front mount and built to handle the extra load of today’s oversized cycling computers plus a light or camera underneath when using the included bolt-on accessory mount. Anything with the pronged GoPro-style mount will fit. Choose from Garmin or Wahoo computer pucks. MSRP is $89.99.

The Black “Oil Slick” takes their standard color and adds visual interest that should go with any modern frame and handlebar. Same mount as the green one, with same options and included bits. Also $89.99.

The Purple color gets “abstract lasering”, and comes in the Max XL Combo mount like the others, plus a Specalized Future combo mount that attaches to their Future Shock and other stem faceplates, and a universal under-stem direct mount adjustable combo mount. Prices from $86.99 to $89.99.
