For the last decade, woom has continued going strong in the kids’ bike department. And there’s good reason for it: The kid-specific builder has appeared in best kids’ bike lineups everywhere from BikeRumor to Forbes.

Now, company co-founders Christian Bezdeka and Marcus Ihlenfeld are celebrating 10 years of designing bikes for tykes. To do it, woom is relaunching its ORIGINAL line of bikes in bright, bold Anniversary Red.

The color, which looks a little more like a bow on a gift box than the company’s usual race red, drops today on every size of woom ORIGINAL. To set off the special look, there’s also a cool dinosaur badge on the front.

About 1.1 million kids across the globe are riding wooms, the company estimated in a press release. In case you’re just catching up, that’s because purpose-driven design drives the company’s builds, prioritizing kids’ needs instead of just adapting conventions from adult bikes. Child-specific geometry, a wide size range, and quality componentry characterize the lineup.

“[W]e want to build the best children’s bikes in the world,” Ihlenfeld said in the press release. “But we want more than that. We want to create memorable moments for children and parents to enjoy when they’re out cycling together. They could be a child’s first independent ride or their first mountain bike trail. Or they could happen on the daily school or nursery run or on a multi-day cycling adventure.”

The woom ORIGINAL bikes are suitable for kids from 18 months to teenagers. MSRP is $249-700 depending on size. As an added bonus, all of the Anniversary bikes will ship for free – woom’s birthday gift to the community.
