Announced last summer, Stages’ power meters for the latest Shimano road groups took a minute to hit shelves. Both of Shimano’s top groups got their single Left-side option shipping in December, followed by all the Dura-Ace parts with the option to buy a complete crankset or send in your own cranks for single- or dual-sided power meter installs.

Now, Shimano Ultegra gets the go ahead with its dual-sided option, and you can buy a new crankset for $839 with LR (Dual, meaning Left & Right) power meters pre-installed on your choice of arm lengths and chainring combos.

The Factory Install starts at $529 for dual-sided, with a current turnaround time of about 3-4 weeks as of this post going live. Single-sided upgrades on your crankarm run $329.99 for Left side and $354.99 for Right side.

Quick refresher: Stages claims +/-1.5% accuracy and automatic temperature compensation. The new design places the driveside strain gauge on top of the arm rather than inside, and places the transmitter pod between the chainring spider, giving you a slimmer profile option for frames that won’t fit the Left side module.
