Looking to eke a bit more performance out of their versatile Arktos mountain bike platform, Alchemy bumped rear travel by 5mm on the two most popular models.
Now with 125mm and 140mm travel, the front travel remains the same, with 130mm and 150mm forks. To add more travel, they revised the linkage a bit, leaving everything else the same…shock stroke and length are carried over. The Flip Chip remains, too, letting you adjust the geo.
This modularity means anyone can swap in the new parts, or even swap travel by changing the linkage and shocks (shocks are different between different travel options). There’s even a mullet kit to prep the bike for a 27.5″ rear wheel.
Joining the new travel options are two new colorways: Pine Green/Sunray Gold and Camel/Black.
The 125 and 140 share the same frame as the 150mm Arktos, which remains in the line unchanged. All three travel models will be available with the new colors and are available for pre-order now, shipping in May 2023.
