Why? Because many of the lands we all recreate and race on were originally tribal lands where Native Americans lived before, you know, colonization. Acknowledging this helps us all connect with the land and those from who it was stolen…and help us all learn new and more ways to be better stewards of the land so it’s there for future generations to walk, run, and race on.
