L’Eroica has partnered with Vittoria to produce a very limited edition tubular tire befitting their ethos of grand adventures on historical bicycles.
Only 208 of the 100% handmade-in-Holland tires will be offered, sold in pairs (so, really only 104 sets). The quantity matches the distance in kilometers of the L’Eroica Gaiole and celebrate the XXV edition of the event. And the 25mm width fits the rim-brake bikes that must be used for their events.
The tires are made by A Dugast using high-quality cotton, natural rubber, and natural latex, then packed inside the usual shoe box used by A Dugast, together with the Vittoria vintage cycling cap.
The limited edition XXV L’Eroica tubular is a multipurpose tire for vintage bicycles using the tread of the Vittoria Pavé, “a tire hardened from many years of racing on the legendary cobbled roads of Paris-Roubaix and the Tour of Flanders”.
That tread is laid on the “Flying Doctor”, the top level cotton carcass from A Dugast, to make it tough enough for any conditions.
Shipping from time of order is about 20 days, so plan ahead. You can customize them by adding up to four characters during checkout, too. Retail is €240, available now while they last.
